The Georgia Coalition for Physical Activity and Nutrition (GPAN) is a statewide organization committed to improving the health status of Georgians through collaboration, communication, and partnership. The members of GPAN represent all facets of organizations, including: business & industry, the academic community, service organizations and foundations, education, government entities---public health, family & children services, and others.
A strong collective voice in policy decisions made at the state, local, or national level.
Opportunities to share information and collaborate on a variety of projects and interests germane to improving health status.
Access to ‘best practice’ information pertaining to addressing the risk factors of poor nutritional intake, sedentary lifestyle, and tobacco use prevention.
The right to access and use the marketing materials for the “Take Charge of Your Health” campaign in company publications and announcements.
The right to vote on all issues posed by GPAN.
The right to run for and hold GPAN office.
The right to assume Board-appointed positions of leadership [Committee and Task Force Chairs].
Recipient of GPAN T-shirt, pedometer, and/or member pin.
Awards Certificates or pins for years of Service - 5 year, 10 year..
